Bikes going to new homes!
He has now fixed and given out another 3 bikes, with two waiting to be picked up by the new owners.
The red bike in the picture is a first pedal bike for a 5 year old :-) ( not his dad who came to collect it ! )
With each bike fixed he is getting quicker at doing them up.
He still has quite a few to work through, so if you have bikes for the project please wait till he has got through the ones already here before bringing them down. If he has too many in at one time he looses work space.
The bikes are all given out for free, with some recipents giving a donation, but this is not expected. The aim is two fold - save bikes from waste, and to help people get on bikes!.
If you would like to help this project keep going we have a link that ring fences money for the bikes. This helps the purchase of inner tubes, and brake cables etc.
